Optitrack mocap test case
I collaborated with faculty and grad students at NYU Tandon School of Engineering’s virtual production studio in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, utilizing their Optitrack motion capture system.
We wanted to experiment with fine motor movement tracking using Optitrack's motion tracking gloves along with larger tracking, and this project became a test case for their setup.
After callibration, the data is utilized to control the avatar - pictured in the video documentation.
